It’s Saturday, and I’m feeling bad today. The worst day so far, and I’m not getting any chemo today! I won’t go into all the gory details, but the sore throat has expanded down to the esophagus so by mid-afternoon swallowing and eating and drinking are very painful.
Ringing in my ears for the first time. My “beautiful” facial complexion is now covered with a rash of small red blotches. Not painful, just not too pretty.
Lots of medications to fight the pain. I hope they work soon.
The weather is great so we some spend time sitting on the patio reading and listening to music. Tonight is family dinner night. Normally, it’s Friday night but there were conflicts on Friday. Anyway, Terri prepared dinner tonight. Unfortunately, I was not feeling poorly by dinner time so I went to bed early. Sorry I missed her chicken dinner.
