I’m feeling fine today and it’s Saturday! Mom and I went to see Dad in the nursing home this afternoon and to play bingo. At least that was the plan. It was raining when we left, but not too bad. By the time we got halfway there, it was coming down very hard. So hard that in some areas the roads were partially flooded. So we decided to turn around and come back home, which was a good thing. Later that afternoon there were flash flood warnings and some roads were blocked.
Mary and I were going out to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary tonight, but we could not even get our of our subdivision because the nearby Little Harpeth River had flooded the streets. So we stayed home and watched a movie.
Happy Anniversary to you and Mary! Thank you for saving us from more damage from the flood. Your generosity is great. WE are so thankful you are our neighbor.
Hi Karol Ann,
Thank you very much! We are also glad to have you as a neighbor. That’s the beauty of community and friendships. We are here to lend a helping hand whenever we can.
Thanks, Dick and Mary
